Angelina Jolie the new face of Guerlain

Angelina Jolie has been tapped by luxury French beauty brand Guerlain to be the face of its new fragrance, Mon Guerlain. The company announced the news on their Instagram channel on
Monday alongside a beautiful silhouette of the star.

Launching in March, the scent is said to have been inspired by the 41-year-old actress and philanthropist. According to a press release, Thierry Wasser, Guerlain's master perfumer, wanted the fragrance to be feminine while still bold (so women wearing it would be inspired to embrace their choices and dreams).

For her part, the mum-of-six had hopes that it would smell subtly of Guerlain's powder, something her mother used to wear and a scent which reminds her of some of her favourite childhood memories. This is the first huge career announcement that Angelina has made since since her split from Brad Pitt last year.
